She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard B. Hively and Elizabeth D. Hively; her husband Robert E. Bassler Sr.; her grandson Eric D. Grimes; and her great grandchild Jenna A. Bassler.
She is survived by: her children, Robert E. Bassler, Jr. (Carol) of New Windsor, Beth King (David) of Westminster and Ralph E. Bassler (Stacey) of New Windsor; her grandchildren, Jennifer M. Lowery (Erik), R. Christopher Bassler (Rachel), John R. Bassler (Andrew J. Grimes), Joanna (Jacob E. Bassler), Jackie (Jeffrey T. Bassler), Jasmine (David R. Bassler), Jess (Brandon King), Travis King (Maria) and David King Jr. (Dan King); her sister Margaret L. Hively of Hanover, PA; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bassler of West Alexandria, OH and Loretta Bassler of Fairplay, MD. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
