He was predeceased by : his parents, Gustav Carlson and Judith Carlson (Dahl). He is survived by : his wife Rita Carlson; his children, Richard A. Carlson (Patty), Wendy Figuli (Chris) and Lori Sarem (Mark); his grandchildren, Dylan Sarem (Victoria), Mallory Turner (Markell), Luke Carlson, Courtney Sarem, Olivia Figuli, Aidan Figuli and Owen Figuli; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Turner, Kenley Sarem and Kaiden Sarem.
