He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Schwedes and June Niobi Schwedes. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Schwedes, Jr. (Cathy) and Melanie Wisner (Tom); and his grandchildren, Dawson Wisner, Logan Wisner and Summer Schwedes.
