He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fontaine and Kathleen Fontaine of Riverdale; his siblings, Patricia Fitzgerald (late Paul) and Michael Fontaine (Diana); and his niece Julia Wassmann.
He is survived by: his family, Paul Fontaine (Deborah), Mary Wassmann (Robert), Barbara Smith (Wayne), Ralph Fontaine, Teresa Wurster (Thomas) and Stephen Fontaine (Lisa); and his sister-in-law Jeannette Fontaine. He is also survived by nephews, as well as their spouses, and his many great-nieces and nephews.
