David B. Nolan Obituary
David B. Nolan, age 56, of North East, MD, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021.
Born in Point Pleasant, NJ, on May 22, 1965, he was a son of the late Donald and Claire (Carriere) Nolan. David proudly served his country in the United States Army for 14 and a half years, completing tours of duty during Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. He then worked as an electrical engineer at Aberdeen Proving Ground. In his spare time, David enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and boat building. He was actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America, and was considered to be an avid social media influencer. More than anything, David loved spending time with his family.
David is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Tayna J. (Cook) Nolan; children, Josh (Tina), Paul, Jessica, Tyler, Sean, Dillon, Madison, and Morgan; grandson, Logan; and siblings, Steve (Melissa) and Jeff.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 1811 Hopewell Road, Port Deposit, MD, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in David's memory to Boy Scout Troop 143, Care of Hopewell United Methodist Church, at the address above.
