He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rhoades and Florence Simpers; his wife Betty L. Rhoades; his children, Loretta Mae Rhoades Rock and Jeffrey Allen Rhoades; his grandson Charles W. Gifford; and his siblings, Lester, John, Dorothy and Patsy.
He is survived by: his sons, George W. Rhoades, Jr. (Diane) of Elkton, MD, Richard L. Rhoades (Tammy) of Elkton, MD and Frederick G. Rhoades (Darlene Hollobaugh) of North East, MD; and his brothers, Edgar Rhoades (Cookie) of Elkton, MD and Dean Rhoades (Sally) of Chesapeake City, MD.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
