He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Blomquist and Ethel Mason Blomquist; and his siblings, Linda Blakeman and Roy Blomquist. He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Blomquist (Paula) of Rising Sun, MD, Jeff Blomquist (Melanie) of North East, MD, Jason Blomquist (Holly) of Earleville, MD and Daniel Blomquist of North East, MD; and his sisters, Marie Sweeney of Sewell, NJ, Elaine McDowell of Lewes, DE and Louise Eastburn (Bruce) of Middletown, DE.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
