He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Sr. Porter and Mabel Porter (Sawyers). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Porter; his children, Janet Lynn (Gary) of Delaware City, DE, Sara Louise (Steve) of Coatesville, PA and Kenneth L. Porter of Elkton, MD; his siblings, James Porter (Teresa) of Bel Air, MD, Jerry Porter (Malinda) of Port Deposit, MD, Frank Porter (Sandra) of Conowingo, MD, Patricia Bandy (James) of Tazewell, VA and Christina Childress (Scott) of Havre; and his pet Bootsy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family would like donations to St. Jude and Shriners Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
