He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth D, Sr. and Doris VanDyke (Keys); and his brother Richard VanDyke. He is survived by: his wife Joan VanDyke (Reynolds); his children, Wendy Smith (Roy) of Rising Sun, MD, Kenneth D. "Bo" VanDyke, III (Kimberly) of Rising Sun, MD and Andrew VanDyke (Colleen) of Naples; his siblings, Shirley VanDyke (Ed Davis), Linda Holbrook (Bobby), Patty Moore (Chuck), John VanDyke (Lynn) of Rising Sun, MD., Jim VanDyke (Janet) of Rising Sun, MD. and Jerry VanDyke (Debby) of Rising Sun, MD.; and his grandchildren, Emily Miller, Kenneth D. VanDyke, IV, Juliana Clough, Kelcie Nieman, Andrew VanDyke, Delaney VanDyke and Emma VanDyke. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
