He was predeceased by: his father Clair Cook; his son Michael Lynn Cook, II; his siblings, Gary Cook and Cindy Piddock (William R. Houston); and his son-in-law David Nolan.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Cook of North East, MD; his daughter Tanya Nolan of North East, MD; his siblings, Janice Piatt (Robert) of Evans Mills, NY, Jo Ann Houston of Carthage, NY, Connie Pickering of Carthage, NY, Tammy Widrick (Keith) of Charlotte, NC, Gina Powell (Thomas) of Ft Mill, SC, John Cook (Brenda) of Evans Mills, NY, Terry Cook (Shirley) and Randy Cook of Cayce, SC; and his sister-in-law Nancy Cook of Watertown, NY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
