She is survived by: her husband Robert Short; her sons, Matthew Grafton (Brittany) of Newark and Mason Grafton (Sarah) of North East, Maryland; her parents, Emerson Barton, Jr. (Julie) and Hazel Eastridge; her siblings, Debbie Brock (Dale) of Perryville, Maryland and Tommy Barton (Dawn) of Rising Sun, Maryland; and her grandchildren, Jack, Freya, Kit and Graham.
