He was predeceased by: his mother Elva Mae Schmidt. He is survived by: his father George Schmidt; his wife Stefanie Schmidt; his son Raymond Schmidt II; his brothers, George Schmidt Jr. (Jodi), Brian Schmidt (Maryanna) and John Schmidt (Nicci); and his cousin Gary Russell (Donnell Mitchell). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. T. Foard Funeral Home (111 S Queen St, Rising Sun, MD 21911). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the West Nottingham Cemetery (1195 Firetower Rd, Colora, MD 21917).
