He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Kahn Gell; his parents, Harry Gell and Bertha Gell (Schmidt); and his brother Gordon Gell. He is survived by: his children, Angela Stanaway of Jamaica, VA and Greg Gell of Portland, OR; his granddaughter Emily Stanaway of Jamaica, VA; and his siblings, Donna Lindburg and Kenneth Livingston, Jr..
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Cecil College Foundation or St. John's United Methodist Church, both of which were dear to Robert's heart.
