He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Thomas Aliff and Opal Agnes Aliff (Litton); his brother Harry Lee Ratliff; and his son-in-law Michael T. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Eunice Aliff (Hedrick); his children, Sheri L. Smith of Pasadena, MD, Sarah A. Totushek of Frederick, MD, Thomas E. Aliff (Jennifer) of Pasadena, MD and Philip J. Aliff (Holly) of Elkton, MD; and his brother John V. Aliff of Auburn, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
