As we bid adieu to Shirley Ruth's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Shirley Ruth has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Lewis Atwell; her parents, Grover Lee Harding and Mary Edith Harding (Marshall); and her brother David Harding. She is also survived by Many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and family friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the North East Methodist Cemetery (101 Cemetery Road, North East, MD 21901).
