He is survived by: his mother Irene Ballance (Lehowit); his wife Kathleen "Kat" Ballance (Sturgill); his children, Shane Ballance, Kevin Ballance and April Davis; and his siblings, Dan Ballance (Weigen), Rick Ballance (Mary), Lindy Ballance (Sandy), Jeff Ballance, Joanne Scatasti (Joe) and Kathy Michaels (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
