He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Hahn Winner and Paul T. Winner; and his siblings, Bernice Major, Paul Winner and Edward Winner.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline N. Winner (Nepi); his children, Christine Hughes (Kevin) and Tom Winner (Andrea); and his grandchildren, J. T. (Mitchell), Alexis, Joel and Mason.
