She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Hebron and Helen C. Hebron (Jones); her sister Phyllis Hall; her sons, Paul Vernon King Jr. and Michael Jerome Brown; her grandson Joseph Jones III; and her brothers, Leon, Melvin, Billy and Johnnie.
She is survived by: her cousin Nettie; her husband Paul Vernon King; her friend Harold Cooper; her daughters, Wanda King, Songsarae Jones (Joseph) and Sheryl Cannon; her brother Rickey Hebron (Edna); and her grandchildren, David Jr. Garey (Julia), Katrina Garey, Kevin Garey, Whitney Garey, Paul King, Charles King, Shannon Dorsey (David), Shawnta Wilson (Kimothy), Aaron King-Jones and Tierra Cannon. She is also survived by great- grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews.
