He was predeceased by: his sister Rosemarie Kotroba; and his parents, Frank Kotroba and Mary Kotroba. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Kotroba; his children, Emily Drzewicki (Steve), Jeffrey Kotroba (Elizabeth) and Joseph Kotroba (Darlene); his grandchildren, David Drzewicki, Melissa Drzewicki, Caleb Kotroba, Daphne Kotroba and Everett Kotroba; and his brother Frank Kotroba.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the DeVol Funeral Home (10 E Deer Park Dr, Gaithersburg, MD 20877). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Martin of Tours (201 S Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877). A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the All Souls Cemetery (11401 Brink Rd, Germantown, MD 20876).
