She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Steven M. Hughes; her stepsons, Justin D. Hughes (Paige) and Matthew R. Hughes (Jamie); her grandchildren, Eleanor "Ellie" Hughes, Ryan Hughes, Liam Lozoskie, Teagan Hughes and Shannon Hughes; and her siblings, Paul M. Dillow, Bill H. Dillow and Gail E. Charles.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. (9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (8420 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236).
