It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daphne M. Vanderburgh of Nottingham, Maryland, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gwendoline Palmer and Osmund Palmer. She is survived by : her husband Oliver Read Whitley; her sister Diana Robertson (England) of Romsey; her children, Karen West Eske (Dave), Jonathan West (Coleen), David JT Vanderburgh (Christine), Elizabeth Ford (Joe), Scott Max and Stephen Vanderburgh; her grandchildren, Shane West (Alexa), Soura Vanderburgh, Josephine Vanderburgh, Alyssa Miles (Ron) and Troylynn Ford; and her great grandchildren, Josiah and Alana.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Liriodendron Foundation.
