He is survived by: his mother Josephine Persichitti,; his wife Janet Persichitti; his children, Shelby Bender (Markus), Stephanie Persichitti (Jarrod), Anthony Persichitti (Caitie), Gina Aguilera (Johnathan) and Michael Persichitti; his sisters, Lori Persichitti and Danielle Carney (Bryan); and his grandchildren, Trajan, Calista, Gianna and Myles.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Mass cards be offered in Gilbert's memory.
