Jean Diane Carter Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 24, 2025, at the age of 85, Jean Diane Carter (Nottingham, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jean Diane leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Gorleski and Anna Gorleski; her husband James Carter; and her son Steven Carter. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Carter (Sharon) and Dave Carter; her sister Pam Scales; her grandchildren, Dylan Carter, Aidan Carter and Seamus Carter; and her cousin Dage. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
