She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Edwards and Birdine Edwards; and her brothers, Kenneth Edwards and Calvin Edwards. She is survived by: her son Marcus Edwards; her nieces and nephews, Stephen Bynum, Javunt Benton, Lisa Edwards and LaToya Bynum; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Josiah Moore and LaKia Moore; her friend April Irving; her pet Toro; Tammie Edwards-Bynum (Charles), Larry Edwards, Phillip Edwards, Keith Edwards and Kevin Edwards. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Sheryl's name to; The Helping Up Mission.
