He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude William and Grace Arthella Plessinger (Moore); his granddaughter Heather Boone; and his son-in-law Jim Tucker. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Elaine Plessinger (Moore); and his daughters, Jane Niner (Roger) of Oakland, Nancy Tucker of Oakland and Wendy Haden of Oakland. He is also survived by grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
