She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Simmons and Gaynal Simmons (Bonner); her former husband Donald J. Friend; Donald DeWitt. She is survived by: her children, William Lansberry (Mia), Scott DeWitt (Sue), Donnie DeWitt (Susan), Victoria Thomas (Shane Jobs), Marsha Parsons (Russ) and Deborah Lansberry; and her siblings, Frank Simmons, Cindy Martin, Virginia Flynn, Thelma Eves, Ruby Simmons, Pat Bonner and Mary Mulvihill. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
