He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Upole and Virginia Upole; his son Scott Harold Upole; and his brother Ernest Jefferson Upole. He is survived by: his wife Karen Louise Wotring; his sons, Michael Todd Upole and Mark Edward Upole (Samantha); his grandchildren, Brittany Dixon (Jalin), Ryan Upole (Samantha), Ty Upole, Jeremiah Butzer and Elijah Butzer; and his great grandchild Henry Harold Upole.
