She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Albert and Mae Belle Steiding (Cunningham); her husband Lawrence Franklin Sherwood, Jr.; her daughter Judith Schaumburg; and her grandson Matthew Sherwood.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Fallon of Deer Park, John Sherwood (Debbie) of Hinton, WV, Martha Ognibene (Bart Thompson) of Morgantown and Mary Dreibelbis (Harold) of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Benjamin Bertz, Jeremiah Bertz, Timothy Schaumburg (Keith Loudermill), Jennifer Schaumburg (Brendan Smith), Adrienne Ognibene (Andrew Cybulska), James Ognibene (Asia), Kelsey Stancliffe (Jason) and Sara Dreibelbis (Ben Linser); and her great grandchildren, Andrew Sherwood, Cora Stancliffe and Silas Ognibene.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (318 E Oak St, Oakland, MD 21550). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
