He is survived by: his children, Marta Turney, Brantly Rush Turney (Laurie), Michele Messenger (Reginald) and Kurk Turney (Carrie); his grandchildren, Kellan Rush Turney, Kristin Messenger (Emmanual Fonseca), Cole Messenger (Kasiah), Max Messenger (Mary), Kendall, Bryce and Aiden Turney; and his great grandchildren, Waverly, Rip, Fin Messenger, William, Beau, Wesley Messenger, Ansel Rush Turney and Arch Rush Turney.
