She is survived by: her son-in-law Roger Spurgeon, Sr.; her sister Sara Lou Gonya; her grandchildren, Cheryl Ross, David Spurgeon, Lisa Thayer-Welch (Denver), Earl Bryan Thayer, III (Mark), Elizabeth Shoemake (Dave), John H. Thayer, Jr. (Dawn) and Edward Thayer (Kendra); her great grandchildren, Johnny, Rachel, Heather, Jessica, Megan, Christine, Brianna, Hallie, Courtney, Zach, Noah, Ian and Madison; her niece Kaylen Carlson (Harland); and her great-nieces, Erica, Lara and Ingrid. She is also survived by 9 great-great grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren; and 5 step-great-great grandchildren.
