Lena Wilt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lena Wilt of Oakland, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Early Foster and Texie Foster (Carr); her husband Bud Wilt, Sr.; her son Benjamin "Butch" Wilt; and her siblings, Mildred, George, John, Geraldine, Marvin, Earl, Billie and Archie Benjamin.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur Wilt (Bonnie) of Kingwood, Steve Wilt (Gale) of Masontown, Terry Shaffer (Brad) of Silver Lake and Phillip "Marty" Wilt, Jr. (Debbie) of Deer Park; and her grandchildren, Jenny Wilt, Denny Wilt, Mike Wilt, Jaimie Wilt, Cody Wilt (Lacey), Rich Wilt (Trish), Andy Wilt (Shayna), Erika Myers (Adam) and Stevi Ellzfritz. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Underwood United Brethren in Christ Church (15 Old Crellin Rd, Oakland, MD 21550).
