Leona Dixon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leona Dixon (Oakland, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Pike and Virginia Pike (Thomas); and her siblings, Joan Stump, Rodney Pike, Donna Gregory and Joyce Pike.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Dixon; her children, Charles "Chad" Baker (Kerri) of Oakland, Gretchen Baker (Alexandra) of Aurora and William Dixon of Aurora; her grandchildren, Tristan Baker, Bryson Baker, Austin Baker (Alex Cathers), Brooklyn Baker, Cruz Baker, Cade Baker, Jackson Baker and Sean Baker; her great grandchildren, Branson Baker and Averlee Baker; her brothers, Fred Pike (Brenda), Rick Pike (Debbie) and Ronnie Pike (Shirley); and her close friend June Sisler (Mike).
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes (21 N 2nd St Ext, Oakland, MD 21550). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Community Center (975 Joni Miller Rd, Oakland, MD 21550).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Aurora School.
