It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Fairchild of Oakland, Maryland, born in Beauty, Kentucky, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Clay Kirk and Maude Kirk; her daughter Sharon Morris (Melvin); her grandson Melvin Morris III; and her siblings, Chester Kirk, Pauline Johnson, Thorney "Eddie" Kirk, Clay Kirk Jr., Bobby Kirk and Sue Hafercamp.
She is survived by : her children, Randall Dials (Rita), Michael Fairchild and Vicki Savage (Lydell); her grandchildren, Ryan Dials, Robbie Dials (Amber), Denise Deal (Jim), Nicole Bream (Nick), Dustin Buchanan (Tara), Karla Atha (Josh), Gabe Savage (Tasha), Nicole Pershing (James), Elizabeth Proudfoot (Drew) and DJ Savage (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Grayson Dials, Henry Dials, Camden Buchanan, Kaylee Buchanan, Anthony Buchanan, Amanda Bream, Joseph Bream, Jessi Bream, Kelley Barnickel (Brian), Chelsea Deal, Kristen Deal, Jimmy Deal, Madison Deal, Kaitlyn Lowry, Savannah Atha, Caroline Lowry, Kacey Savage, Brady Alexander, Bryson Alexander, Wyatt Alexander, Abiella Alexander, Evelyn Proudfoot and Eleanor Proudfoot; her great great grandchildren, Holden Barnickel and Leighton Barnickel; her sister Joyce Kirk Smithson; and her friends, Tara Chapman and Zoey Roy.
