With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Elizabeth Dove of Oakland, Maryland, born in Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on April 20, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, McDow Coffman and Ida Opal Coffman (Pingley); her husband Paul Edward Dove, Jr.; and her sisters, Emma Day, Agnes Kent and Patricia Wilson.

She is survived by : her children, Paul Edward Dove, III (Erin), Sheila Kay Bittinger (Rick) and Paula Sue Dove; her siblings, Bryan Coffman, Dave Coffman, Paul Isaac Coffman, Phyllis Day, Sue Godwin and Mary Stemple; her grandchildren, Lowell Bittinger (Melanie), Kayleigh Cooper (Adam), Jenna Whitacre (DeWayne), Max Bittinger, Adrianna Dove, Paul Dove, IV, Grady Dove and Nevaeh Coffman-Dove; and her great grandchildren, Zachary Bittinger, Allison Whitacre and Presley Bittinger.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newman Funeral Homes (1100 Memorial Dr, Oakland, MD 21550). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
