He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward George Kovacs Sr. and Elsie Katherine Kovacs (Harry). He is survived by: his sister Kathryn Meyer (Mark); and his nieces, Sage Pemberton and Mae Pemberton.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to the "Lt. Ward Kovacs Junior Beach Patrol Scholarship Fund".
