She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Wright and Sarah Wright (Speakman); her former husband Eugene A. McCabe; and her siblings, Ronald Wright, Eva Whitsell and Doris Phelps.
She is survived by: her husband John P. Hayes; her children, Carroll McCabe, Mary "Kathy" Monaco (James), Diane McCabe (Phil Everson), William McCabe and Eugene McCabe II (Heather); and her stepchildren, Bonnie Knapp (Michael), Brent Hayes (Jamie) and Carla Butler (Marvin). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Luke Catholic Church (9903 Coastal Hwy, Ocean City, MD 21842). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (9903 Coastal Hwy, Ocean City, MD 21842).
