He was predeceased by: his father Stanley Stuart Layton Sr.; and his grandson Alexander Layton. He is survived by: his mother Hazel Johnson; his wife Antoinette Layton; his stepfather Dave Holden; his children, Kyle Layton and Christopher Layton; and his grandchildren, Andrew Layton, Adrianna Layton and Kolby Layton.
