He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Waesche and Rebecca Waesche (Huber); his wife Betty Jane Smith Waesche; his daughter Karen Ann Eaton; his siblings, Albert Waesche Jr., Billy Robertson and Doris Lessner; and his granddaughter Katie McCarthy.
He is survived by: his children, Charles C. Waesche, Jr. (Kim), Kathy Sue Henninger (David) and DeeDee McCracken (Kevin); his brother Robert Waesche (Merle); his grandchildren, Carly Johnson (Alex), Patrick McCarthy, Kelly Jones (Joshua), Annie Eaton Bautista (Carlos), Shane McCarthy (Jessica), Gary Eaton (Julia), Michele Waesche, Scott Eaton (Robyn), Lisa Waesche and Lori Waesche; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Johnson, Isaiah Johnson, Ezra Johnson, Uriel Johnson, Onyx Johnson, Zadok Johnson, Matthew Jones, Madilyn Jones, Esme Bautista, Waylon Eaton, Juniper Eaton and Dylen Cadogan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the River Church of the Nazarene (11004 Worcester Hwy, Berlin, MD 21811). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Broad Creek Cemetery (370 Romancoke Rd, Stevensville, MD 21666).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "The River Church of the Nazarene" in Berlin, Maryland or The Walter Hoving Home in Garrison, New York, both of which were near and dear to his heart.
