It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. Wieboldt of Ocean Pines, Maryland, born in Jamaica, New York, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Wieboldt and Libbie Tabor; and his former life partner Christine A. Freely. He is survived by : his wife Dr. Cynthia H. Roman; his brother Alfred (Maritza Guzman); his children, William (AJ Neaher), Pamela (Daniel Botkin) and Janice (Harry Purdham IV); his stepdaughter Katrina Roman (Scott Boyer); and his grandson Harry Purdham V..

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jim's name to The Maryland Coastal Bays Program, 8219 Stephen Decatur Highway, Berlin, MD 21811.
