It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Anthony Matturro of Ocean Pines, Maryland, who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Matturro and Louise Matturro (Siniscalchi); and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Rumpf and James O'Neil. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Matturro (O'Neil); his daughters, Ann Gault (William), Traci Ambrosi (Anthony) and Christine McLaughlin (William); his sister Barbara Rumpf; his siblings-in-law, John O'Neil and Judy O'Neil; his grandchildren, Ryan Kellner (James), William Gault (Hannah), Caroline Gault, Grace Gault, Joseph McLaughlin, Thomas McLaughlin and William McLaughlin V; his niece Michelle (Chris Stevens); his great-niece Noelle Cummins; and his stepgrandchildren, Anthony and Angela Ambrosi.
In lieu of flowers, Joseph asked that donations in his memory be made to The Worcester County Veterans Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 1576, Ocean Pines, MD 21811.
