Betty Ann Banks Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Ann Banks (Odenton, Maryland), who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlan Banks and Betty Ann Parker Banks; and her godchildren, Meagan Nicole Graham and Christopher David Gipson. She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Bank (Helen) and Sheryl Banks; her niece Maneka Monk (Dexter Sr.); her great-nephews, Dexter, Jr. and Dixon; her godson Joshua Boggs; her close friend Cynthia Belt Gipson; and also, Dorothy Cotten, Stephanie White, Beverly Tsikata and Angela Ransom. She is also survived by relatives, friends.

Betty was a founding member of the Christopher Gipson Sickle Cell Moya-Moya Foundation. She donated blood, volunteered, and recruited people for the Red Cross Blood Drives that are sponsored by Christopher's Foundation.
