He was predeceased by: his wife Johhnie Owens; his parents, Hobart Owens and Alice Owens; and his siblings, Obie Owens, Mary Ellen Bays, Helen Sumpter and Veda Sumpter.
He is survived by: his children, Charles "Matt" Owens (Michele) and Katherine "Kathy" Guilfoyle; and his grandchildren, Matthew Owens (Amberlea), Collin Owens (Lindsey), Cory Owens (Hannah), James "Jamie" Guilfoyle and Megan Guilfoyle (Nick). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, you may make a contribution to South Shore Church in Crownsville or Ulman Cancer Foundation in Baltimore.
