He was predeceased by: his parents, Johannes Jan Wieringa and Daisy Wieringa. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Wieringa; his siblings, Grace Gerwe (Bruce), Joan McCarty (David), Martin Wieringa and Hans Wieringa; his brother-in-law Daniel Baseman; his nephew Brian Gerwe (Hollie); his great-nieces, Sophie and Bella; and his great-nephew Justin Gerwe (Kristian).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory (1411 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD 21113). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, dontations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
