He was predeceased by: his parents, Medorese Borg (Muliken) and George Jansen; and his brother David Borg. He is survived by: his wife Gerrie Jansen; his son-in-law Joellyn Furmage (Jeff); his grandchildren, John Marques Jr., Jillian Furmage, Julia Furmage, Jordan Furmage, Erica Furmage and George Furmage V; and his siblings, Susan Bell and Ronnie Jansen. He is also survived by his loving family, dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 1210 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to these charities in Ric's honor, Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Paralyzed Veterans of America.
