He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Roy M. Walsh, Sr. and Veronica Wynne Walsh; his stepmother Carla J. Walsh; his siblings, Patrick F. Walsh and Renee M. Garnett; his nephew Dylan J. Garnett; and his aunt Joan Walsh Mallin.
He is survived by: his wife Donna K. Walsh; his sons, R. Michael Walsh III and Ryan P. Walsh (Rhonda); his granddaughter Abby N. Walsh; and his sisters, Barbara Ann Goduti (Fred) and Sharon Ann Riccardi (Fred). He is also survived by seven nephews, and two nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
