It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ann McIntire (Olney, Maryland), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Dorothy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dorothy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Cameron M. McIntire. She is survived by: her children, Janet McIntire, Jon McIntire and Deborah Rose (Joseph); her grandchildren, Christina Wisniewski (Peter Alan) and Brandt Rose (Kayla); and her great grandchildren, Peter Paul Wisniewski II, Aleksandr Wisniewski and Vada Rose.
