He was predeceased by: his parents, Hanumantha Rao and Susila Rao. He is survived by: his wife Kristin; his daughters, Maya and Erika; and his siblings, Kris (Sugi), Venkatesh, Nalini (Ramamurthi), Bhagya, Geeta (Jagannath), Vimla (Raghothama) and Uma (Murali). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
