He is survived by: his daughters, Aliza Lerner (Jon), Ariel Derringer (Coby), Devora Yellin and Rachel Yellin; his grandchildren, Eli, Lena, Shevi, Rafi, Micah, Shoshi and Laila; his sister Cheryl; and his brother-in-law Rabbi Harvey Meirovich.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Judean Memorial Gardens (16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD 20832). A committal service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
