She is survived by: her daughter Cherie Saunders; her siblings, Dr. Betty H. Smith, Ruth "Tina" Marie Smith and Joseph Holston, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Sharon Smith Holston. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
