Thomas McGettigan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas McGettigan of Olney, Maryland, who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Patricia Wilcher McGettigan; his children, Anora Jean Schweitzer (Mark), John Thomas McGettigan (Charleen) and Timothy Michael McGettigan; and his grandchildren, Amanda Marie Schweitzer, Emily Rose Schweitzer, Aidan Michael McGettigan, Katie Schultz, Frank Crenshaw and Andy Crenshaw. He is also survived by his six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please have a Mass in honor of Tom or for the Poor Souls in Purgatory.
